I first started using AVG when Microsoft OneCare (which was also an excellent security suite) notified me that they were not renewing their product back in 2008.My first purchase was from Wal-Mart for 2 years (upto 3 comps) and it worked excellently on my old Dell with XP Pro.It actually cleaned up a number of problems I was having and sped up my computer.
I renewed online through Amazon for a 2 year multiple machine deal that included AVG PC Tune-up in 2010.It installed and updated flawlessly without any slowdown and again helped to clean-up and speed up my machine. Finally my old Dell had to be replaced due to lack of onboard HD space(old 40GB 2006)in late 2012.
I called AVG & they remotely assisted in carrying my remaining license time over to my new Acer w/Windows 7 and updated my version for free without any hassle or hesitation.I just updated today for the third time without a hitch! Never a slow down,excellent accurate reports,keeps my machine clean & running at optimum performance.
